This is the opening screen on program launch. Enter the number you are looking for in the search box, select the button for the type of search which defaults to "Begins With", then click the "Find" button. The "Begins With", "Exact Match" and "Contains" all search the key blank number fields. "Application" and "Description" search those fields respectively.

Here we will search for the number string 114 and leave the default "Begins With" selected.

Here is the result of the search: 37 items found where the key blank number begins with 114. We can page through the results using the navigation arrows or select the "Grid View" tab (illustrated later)

If we use the same search string of 114 but choose the "Contains" button we get, as expected, a larger found set of results which include key blank part numbers having one or more characters preceding the 114 string, as the screen shot shows that X114 is now included and a total of 89 matches.

In this example we are illustrating the possible scenario where you remember that the Strattec number had 114 in it somewhere but not the exact number. The strategy here is execute the broader "Contains" search then the click the "Grid View" tab and then click on the "Original" column heading to sort by that column (Strattec being the original for many automotive) After locating the number, highlight the row and we can click back to the first "Find Keys" tab if we wish.

As a final illustraton, consider searching for "Tractor" and selecting the "Description" button. Here, four results match "Tractor" in the description.
